In the last decade, computer researchers and practitioners have started paying more attention to Artificial Intelligence [AI] technologies. Moreover, the global pandemic has also imposed additional challenges for industrial stakeholders that have to be accounted for when planning different sustainable operations for real-time applications such smart cities, smart transportation, smart industries, healthcare etc. Developing intelligent approaches such as, computer-aided techniques could be very useful for the research practitioners in this domain. On the other hand, the predictive technologies can assist relevant smart application developers, who often deal with various sources of uncertainty in their operations. With recent technological advances, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a major enabler in establishing sustainable development. Artificial Intelligence [AI] methods enable sustainability goals to provide value along economic, social, environmental, and technical dimensions. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence [AI] has improved the ability to overcome the complexity and increase our understanding on significant causative variables and sources, besides providing tools to influence the outcomes.
This International Conference on Self Sustainable Artificial Intelligence Systems aims to discuss about the role of intelligence-based, computer-aided approaches such as optimization with the advanced models and algorithms such as genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization, artificial bee colonies, etc., predictive methods (artificial neural networks, neuro fuzzy interfaces etc.), and expert systems in establishing sustainability for social good. With this conference, some fundamental concepts and associated AI techniques applied for sustainability will be promoted.
